Description |
Brothers, Wesley and Bud Staples met by accident during the war. They were not in the same company but were on opposite banks of the river when Bud noticed his brother's unit on the other side. It happened twice over the 2 years and once they were able to spend the night together As Wesley wrote in his memories of that time, "It made the world seem normal for a night". |
