Description |
A program for a play called "Island Parade". June 15, 1974 at 8 pm.. It was sponsored by the PTC and directed by Josephine Beale. The Yankee Doodles were Averill Burns, Lisa Felch, Kathy Martin, & Susan Swann. The Flappers were Melita Staples & Josephine Beale. Carlton Ranquist and David Carlson played. Averill Burns and Susan Swann sang "Ain't we Got Fun". Carlton Ranquist did a solo. Averill Burns, Lisa Stanley, Kathy Burns and Susan Swann sang "Tiptoe Through the Tulips". The Racketts were Six Stylist Ladies: Beverly Turner, Carolyn Martin, Melita Staples, Mary Staples, Mardie Junkins and Jo Beale. Rag Mops were Beverly Turner and Mardie Junkins. The Clam Diggers Combo were a band at the time and they were Renee & Priscilla Stinson, Butch Overlock, Carlton Ranquist, David & Donnie Carlson. Mod Mama was J. Beale from the Mod Mamas dance group in Portland. Betty Carlson and Pacita Joyce were thanked for their musical attention. The back of the program are words provided by Basil Joyce's collection of music and were sung by the group. "Let a Smile be Your Umbrella on a Rainy Day" and "Linger Awhile". |
