Milton "Bud" Staples (1925-2002) and his talking dog, Mr. Ed. Mr. Ed would skin his lip back when he 'talked' to you - or when you talked to him. Bud is riding the dog around in a cart attached to his riding mower. The smaller black dog is Butch who belonged to Gwen & Wayne Philbrook. Gwen was Bud's daughter and later was Roger May's wife. The photo is taken at Bud & Melita's house at 8 Mackerel Cove Rd. |
