A group of three unknown men (possibly Carlyle Staples facing the camera) on the left. Ray Stinson in the dark suit in front of the bus, Milton Hennigar by his shoulder, Bud Staples side Ray and Steve Molnar is barely showing over Bud's shoulder. The others on the right are Norman Burns, Herman Staples, Verna Molnar and Agnes Staples. The people are waiting for the passengers and dignitaries for Ferry Day, celebrating the new "William S. Silsby" that started its maiden voyage on Swan's Island on March 11, 1960. The school bus is near the old Joyce boatshop that was located near where the terminal was eventually built. |
