The building on the right that shows a porch and some people gathered is the hotel that was owned by Captain Charles Herrick. It is located at 241 Harbor Road and is presently owned by Eric and Fran Chetwynd as their summer home. The house beyond that is the Sam Stinson home located at 257 Harbor Rd and owned by his great-granddaughter, Lotti Staples Uber. The house in the center belonged to Tom & Lyda (Lunt) Higgins and is now their grandson's (Leonard Russell) summer home. Notice the cannon on the Hotel lawn facing the road. |
