Kenneth (Kenny) LeMoine Sr is in the wheelhouse window of the Seawind. He was captain for a few years. The Seawind is the boat that took passengers and freight back and forth to Swan's Island from McKinley (now called Bass Harbor). It landed at the Quarry Wharf and was a major event for lots of people who would go for their rides at that time so they could watch to see who came and to visit with the others sitting at the wharf waiting. |
