The Turner family at their annual beach picnic on July 4th. This picnic was at the beach near the Block house on Trask Point (Solomon's Cove). In the front with a bucket is Sheldon Carlson The first row is Flora Turner, Axel Carlson, Bernice Turner Carlson, Effie Turner Sprague, Janis Sprague, Helen Vennie Oliver and Maurice Sprague (with his arm out to the side). Second row is Freddie Turner (sitting on the rock), Tom Hemming, Ruby Turner Burns, Wilson Burns and Vernard Stinson. Standing in back are Cecil Stinson, Marjorie Turner Stinson, Kenneth Turner and Janet Staples. The group is all of Freddie and Flora's children and their spouses, children and Mr. Hemming is Sheldon's father-in-law. Janet Staples was a friend of Kenneth. |
