Notecard from Judy Hart to the Swan's Island Historical Society. Reads: We purchased Finney Field from Basil Joyce. Our address is on Finney Field Road and it is off Atlantic Loop Road. Finney's cellar hole is there as is Basil's concrete platform where he intended to build until he became, as he said, "Too darn old." That hole must be about 200 years old. We won't fill it. |
